Physician and educator guided by a humane approach, Dr. Leonardo Valentin began his work alongside the leaders and pioneers of cosmetic interventional procedures in New York City at Cornell New York Presbyterian Hospital. He quickly became interested in the correlation between vascular & skin health. After an extensive medical training of more than 15 years, Leonardo decided to focus in the treatment of venous ailments that affect our skin, health and overall feeling of wellness.

In 2018 Leonardo envisioned LIVMD; a line of dermocosmetic products developed by drawing on his experience at vascular institutes and vein clinics at the Mass. General Hospital of Harvard Medical School in Boston. The line is now a reality and entered the US market in 2021.
